gathered on all aspects of a business including stock, staff, sales, GST, suppliers and customers. This information can be utilized via a wide range of simple to use reports. The end result is the opportunity to reduce costs, maximise efficiency and overall profitability of the organization.
Powerful yet easy to use AAPOS has been designed to make managing your store easier and more profitable. AAPOS has an easy to use interface that can be touch screen, keyboard or mouse driven. There are numerous functions that add power to the software but are simple to use. For example, the powerful search engine allows stock to be identified using one or a combination of the following: product number; barcode number; product description; kit description; re-order code; supplier; main / sub-category; 2-D Matrix components.
The software remembers the last search parameter used. Searches can be filtered and sorted in ascending or descending order on most grids.
Flexibility
All A4 invoices and receipts, labels, and reports are fully customizable meaning that you can change the layout by including or excluding fields, notes, graphics such as logos and colors. Reports are available on all areas of your business and can be easily modified to suit your operational needs.
A custom report facility also exists, which allows you to have your own reports created based on information captured in the system.
Barcode Scanning AAPOS can automatically generate barcode labels for stock items as they are received. You can also use barcode labels already attached to goods for selling and stock take purposes. The end result is an improvement in transaction speed and stock accuracy

Accounts
AAPOS will handle both accounts payable and receivable. You are able to produce invoices for account transactions, produce monthly statements using the debtor’s ledger reporting. The creditor’s ledger allows you to view future, current and past debts. Information can be exported to popular accounting packages like MYOB.

Stock Control
AAPOS automatically monitors inventory levels and allows you to easily perform stock takes. You are able to set maximum and minimum stock levels for your stock lines, which links directly to stock ordering. The system recommends replenishment of stock that are below set levels. The stock ordering directly links to the creditors ledger to track payment of goods.

Stock Take
Stock take is no longer limited to end
of financial year. You can simply perform
rolling stock takes by category or sub-category.
You can now not only keep your stock at an
optimum level, you can identify how much stock
is being mishandled or lost due to theft.

Data Transfer
AAPOS comes with a basic data transfer module that allows you to send and receive files between remote locations using a timer for dial up purposes. You are able to monitor the status of the data transfer.

Staff Monitoring
Security features exist in the system, which are
employee specific. You can pre-set the level of
access you wish to give to your staff in
relation to refunds, discounts, main menu, stock
entry, the till, selling below a minimum margin,
and access to other staff records. Even if your
employees have complete supervisor access, there
are several reports that will monitor their
movements. For example, you can identify what
products were sold with a discount, at what
time, by who, and how much.

Report Viewer
AAPOS allows you to save and e-mail reports and graphs to a third party. Even if the third party does not have AAPOS, they can still view the reports or graphs using the built-in report viewer.
Customer History
Because you can now capture information relating to a particular customer, their history is available at the point of sale as well as through reports. You can quickly identify your most valuable customers based on quantity purchased, dollars spent or number of visits.
Marketing
Direct mail,
direct e-mail, loyalty points, customer loyalty cards are all standard tools in AAPOS that will assist when it comes to promoting your products and business amongst your existing customer base. By target marketing your customer base with unique offers using the direct mail and e-mail options, you can increase sales without a significant cost. Customer loyalty cards can be issued allowing you to capture valuable information, improve transaction time and of course the loyalty of customers who can eventually redeem the points within your store.
